Set in New York in 1856, Eunice is a period drama based on the life of Eunice Newton Foote. A self-taught scientist who was the first to discover the effects of greenhouse gases on the environment. Eunice had to fight sexism in her field and in society to have her research acknowledged. 

 

Eunice was mentioned in The New York Times' Overlooked series.
